Facebook recently announced changes to its privacy policy and the backlash has begun.
"In a statement, the Electronic Frontier Foundation said: "These new 'privacy' changes are clearly intended to push Facebook users to publicly share even more information than before.
It added: "Even worse, the changes will actually reduce the amount of control that users have over some of their personal data."
This move looks set to follow the recent announcements about Facebook updates being indexed on the major search engines. All we can say is that you need to check carefully what information you are prepared to share via Facebook and ask yourself "Do I mind anyone on the Internet seeing these photos/details?" If you answer yes, then check your privacy status sooner rather than later.
